Do you think it's possible to know a man's soul without ever having met him?  Tomorrow marks the second year anniversary of the fatal crash when Marco Simoncelli died.  He was born on January 20, 1987 and he died on October 23, 2011.  I still remember when I heard the news.

Before there were beards, there was Marco.  He was loved by all of Italy, for his crazy hair, his incredible talent as a professional motorcycle racer, but even more for his beautiful soul.  Marco once said that he lived more in five minutes on his bike, than most people live in a lifetime.  He also said that if deserted on a desert island and could only have one thing, he'd opt for a beautiful girl, and not his bike.

Every Sunday, there is a flame that burns for 58 seconds to honor the man so many loved.  If you never heard of him, take a moment to google his name.  You will probably learn what I already know ... that yes, it is possible to feel a man's soul without ever having met him at all.  Rest in Peace, Marco.  You are missed. ~ SXM
